    White Dwarf 318 (warning; spoilers)

Today I just got a copy of the Australian WD 318 issue. This stuff inside is great. Lots of New Eldar pictures including new warwalkers, howling banshees, fire dragons, warlocks, rangers, phoenix lords and even new guardians without the coneheads but now with hoods and face masks. And best of all, a brand new Avatar.

Listen, I don't even collect eldar but from what I can see, they may be next on my list. Anyway, bundled with the Eldar is a crapload of cities of death and a battle report between Imperial guard cadians and orks.

Trust me, this is the issue to buy.

anyway, would anyone out there buy the 300AUD cities of death set with 10 buildings. Just curious about what you guys think.

O rly? I actually find hard to believe they blow the cover of all these major model-releases in one WD.

well I guess you'll just have to wait until you see it for yourself. Besides, why would I lie about something like this, people wouldn't trust me anymore if I did.

Anyway, I don't mind if you don't beliueve me now, since it is kinda hard to believe.

You just do me a favor and check it out for me.
the content may differ in the US,UK editions but I doubt it.

It also confirms the release date of eldar to be October for AUS/NZ

The June number of UK white dwarf shows Fire Dragons, Banshees, Avengers and Walkers. And it says Eldar in october.

I will not believe what you said until I have seen it, I have waited to long for this to get my hopes up now.

After further inspection of WD i realised that the guardians are great conversions using bits from the fantasy wood elves sets (capes, heads etc.). And the Avatar may just be an amazing conversion but the wailing doom is in the opposite hand.

I'm not sure about the scorpions, but everything else I said is true.

Does the avatar have a spear and is kind of counching? Then it's a conversion.

no, it has the wailing doom and a free hand. I'm pretty sure now that it's a really good conversion.

The Wailing doom can take the shape of a spear, sword or ace, just so you know.
You can't scan in some pics of this and e-mail them to me?
