Hey there.

I live in Shizuoka at the moment but i've been to Tokyo a few times. When I do, I stop by the Jimbocho store and have a look/spend some yen.

I found it quite by accident the first time I went. I was looking for my hotel and stumbled across it. The guy who looks after all 3 Tokyo stores was there and we had a chat. There's even a room upstairs for playing. If you send me a PM i'll CC you into the tournament organised by a few english speaking people in the area. Not sure where the other two are but you might have a bit of juck on the GW website.

If you're ever out Shizuoka way (specifically Kakegawa) I have a bunch of Eldar and a box of Tau and working on cooking up some scenery.

Good luck.

Yeap, and they are Hard Core Gamers too. For those who live in Japan, the army books are free to download, in Japanese.

I went to the Ikebukuro store about 2 weeks after I came to Tokyo, small store, but they had a table ;>

I have no clue where Jimbocho is located, but I'd love to take part in the tournament, if only I had brought my marines to japan :/ theyre still on my shelf in sweden... i miss gaming, but they just wouldnt fit in the bag without being heavily damaged haha

oh and mal if you have a link for the codecies in japanese could you pm me or reply here? ;>

Just go to the Japanese GW site. It's all there. Run it through google translate if you need help.

Really? I had thought that GW had poor sales there. My friend who is from Hokkaido (SP) played tau for a few years and she told me she stopped playing because of noone to play with. I just assumed that Warhammer was noowhere near as popular there. Guess I was wrong to assume.

I imagine that with Dawn of War 40k got a boost.

I know of someone in Malaysia who tells me that 40k is quite popular there for said reason.
