So I want to try out this warbands tournament and I was thinking about entering in a Beastmen force.
Gorebull: HA, AHW, Brass Clever, Gnarled Hide. (4+ armor save)
2x5 Ungor Raiders: Musician (ambushing 1)
1x10 Gors: AHW, Musician:
1x5 Centaurs: GW, Musician:
1x3 Minotaurs: AHW:
The idea is that the Gorebull can really fit inside any of these units (except the raiders).
Also, I don't have my rulebook with me, and I'm not sure if it is legal to have 2 specials in a warbands army.
You cannot take a magic weapon and an aditional hand weapon, so switch the additional hand weapon for a shield. The gorebull would probably be best suited for joining the minotaurs. With them starting frenzied, they can gain more attacks quicker for winning combats. Two specials are fine in warbands, as you are allowed 1 special and 1 rare, but if you don't use the rare you can take a second special choice.
swap brass cleaver for steel claws, read the description of the cleaver VERY carefull, its not an extra attack for each model in base contact, its an attack against EVERY MODEL IN BASE CONTACT, this includes your own unit, and unless he is in the middle of 2 guys, hitting both of your own and usually only 2 or 3 extra guys, so may aswel take the claws and many limbed fiend, leaving u with 7-9 attacks on the charge!! you shouldnt be hit back from that many attacks
Fantasy : Empire, Chaos Warriors, Chaos Daemons, Vampire Counts, Beastmen, High Elves, Lizardmen( but i have opinions on every army just not the money)
40k: Black Templars, Imperial Guard, Dark Eldar, Tau (thinking of Eldar)
