2400 points, Beastmen Army - feedback appreciated

So, I'd like to get a bit of feedback on this army. The core of the army has served me very well, though there are some fiddly bits I'm still not so sure about.

    Rothgar's Ramhorns - 2400 points

    Core - 618 points:
38 Gors, AHW's, Musician, Standard-Bearer [BSB and Great Bray-Shaman go here]
    40 Ungors, Musician, Standard-Bearer
    3 x 5 Ungor Raiders

    Special - 658 points:
39 Bestigors, Full Command, Wailing Banner [Beastlord goes here]
    2 x Razorgor

    Heroes - 546 points:
Bray-Shaman, Chalice of Dark Rain [Lore of Shadows]
Bray-Shaman, Dispel Scroll [Lore of Shadows]
Bray-Shaman, Shard of the Herdstone [Lore of Shadows]
Wargor, BSB, The Beast Banner, Gnarled Hide, Heavy Armor, Shield

    Lords - 578 points:
Beastlord, Armor of Destiny, Crown of Command, Shield, Sword of Battle
Great Bray-Shaman, Fencer's Blades, Ironcurse Icon, Jagged Dagger, L4 Wizard, Talisman of Preservation [Lore of Beasts]

    Grand Total: 2400 points

The way this army typically works out is that big blocks of Gors and Bestigors advance toward the battleline, and chew up most of everything they run into with chaff in front of them to screen and plenty of buffing/debuffing magic backing them up, as well as a big unit of Ungors to hold dangerous things up and beat weaker opponents. The smaller Shamans can either frolic around the Stone on their own, or have a unit of Ungor Raiders nearby to provide Look Out Sir! rolls.

Let me know what you think!

Assuming your point costs are correct you are 5 points over 2400. Other than that it looks very solid. I assume the smaller 20 Gor unit is for Ambush purposes?

Correct on both points, my friend. I have amended the discrepancy (I am now at 2,399 points).

I'll add to the point about Ambushers in that I typically send one unit of Ungor Raiders and the smaller block of Gors into Ambush - this has been important for both the Ungors getting clear shots at important targets (like war machine crews), and the Gors providing a catch-22 scenario for some annoying shooty unit (aka you're gonna get rear-charged by either this block or the big block, so choose wisely). Ambush can be a bit swingy, but I've been able to make good use of them even when my rolling isn't at its best.

Im new to beastmen and i have a few questions to ask about the beastlord and wargor.
1st since theres no actual model what do people commonly use for the wargor.
2nd what units are the beastlord and wargor in?

You can use a Beastlord model for the Wargor, but what I've done is actually used a mix of bits from the Gor, Bestigor, and Minotaur kits to convert mine. I also stole a shoulder pad from a Chaos Marauder kit.

I typically place my Wargor in my unit of Gors, so that they roll around at Strength 4. The Beastlord goes in the Bestigors, in order to bump his Leadership value up to 10.

I also should update this list - it has changed A LOT since I last wrote in it...

I would love to see what you changed, this list looks good to me. But since you've played it and changed it I would love to hear what you have to say about it.

Changes have been posted. The magic phase in this list is much more potent and varied, and there's lots more chaff to screen with and generally annoy your opponent.

Thanks I thought that definatly at 2500 (which is what I will commonly play) I would've added a few more shamans ( with the old list) And gotten rid of the chariots, from my point of view the chariots seem to be a waste of points. But with this one the only thing I can see is upgrading the beast lord and wargor with more items possibly

Minor edits have been made. I've been trying out a list with units that cause Terror to shield the Bestigors from Leadership-bomb style armies.
