First attempt at beastmen 2000 points

2 weeks ago I attented a local tourney and it was a very good day for me. I ended up tied for 1st with 2 other players out of a total of 26 players. After the tiebreaker I didn't get best overal but got best general with my empire. There were no really prizes as the tourney was for charity and the OT had put all the proceeds toward toys for tots. Then people had donated product that was raffled off and you could buy raffle tickets for which the proceeds also went to Toys for Tots. In total over $1500 was collected. I always get a few tickets for the raffle but never win anything. This year was a little different. I won the board game "invasion from outer space", a box of skinks, a mistry box that contained a warp lightning cannon and a hellpit (my nephew is starting skaven so this will be his x-mas present and to top it all off I won a NIB Beastmen army. Included was the following:
    2 Shamans
    Beastlord with greatweapon
    Doombull
    2 tuskgor chariots
2 battalion boxes (40 gor, 20 ungor and 20 bestigor)
and a box of 10 Bestigor

So I figured I should make an army with them and this is what I came up with to keep it cheap but competitive:
Great Bray Shaman - General - Lvl4 - Lore of Beasts - earthing rod - talisman of endurance - crown of command (goes in Bestigors)

Wargor - BSB - Beast Banner - Heavy armor - shield - gnarled hide - in Gors

Bray Shaman - Lvl1 - Dispel scroll - lore of shadow

Bray shaman - Lvl1 - shard of the herdstone - lore of shadow

    39 Gors - FC

    2 Tuskgor chariots

10 ungor raiders - muso (bunker for the lvl1's)

10 ungor raiders - halfhorn - muso (ambushers)

5 warhounds (had 30 points left)

39 bestigors - FC - Standard of discipline

    5 harpies - scouts

Any comments would be appreciated. I can convert the haries from old furies I have and the warhounds I still have from my WoC army. The BSB I can convert up from other models and that means I only need a shaman and a box of bestigors. Would this work?

I wouldn't spend valuable points upgrading Ungor Raiders, that's a chaff unit through and through. As a matter of fact, I would split them up into squads of 5. I would also consider the Talisman of Preservation a bit more important than the Earthing Rod, given that for all intents and purposes you've made a fighting Shaman. Everything else looks good to me.

Good call on the raiders. I like the raiders for the lvl1 bunker since they are harder to hit with shooting and a template weapon won't hit that many but I can adjust the ambush unit.

As for the talisman. I would love the talisman of preservation but with the lvl4 in the bestigor I really can't afford a dimensional cascade with him and lose both my magic and my main combat block.
