I am a beastmen player and want to know what mark is best for a doombull army.
my current beast army is either played as khorne or undivided, but what to try something different.
thanks in advance!
if you're going for an all-minotaur army, you should take nurgle, as it gives them 5+ scaly skin, which becomes 4+ with light armour: a decent armour save.
if not, you would field an entire army without any kind of protection!
and besides that, the doombull is a short-living character (without any ward save) and thus an additional wound comes in handy...
otherwise you could choose khorne on a more balanced army, to maximize the offensive power of the minotaurs and give them some kind of protection. also, i think that a doombull should be used as a plain killing machine, so frenzy is not a problem on him (i mean, you just need to get into the charge range of multiple units, so you will be able to choose the target). and also, get that cows engaged in cc as fast as possible, because shooting will surely grind them, since they have no kind of save!
Then I suggst Slaanesh, Nurgle or Tzeentch...
I dont know exactly what you mean by 'best'. Best can be: Fitting your playstyle, most attacks, most wounds ect.
If you mean for tournements I wouldn't go for the Tzeentch if you almost only want bulls. Then it wouldnt be powerful enough with only one hero. otherwise it is all up to how you play.
