Hopefully you guys can sort through my vageness. There are two magic items in the book that would compliment my army very nicely if they could be used in combonation with each other. I forget the names of the specific items and as you probably know I am noobish with BoC so I apologize. One is a magic item that allows the caster to cast a magic movement spell. The other item allows a unit to add d3 to their charge distance.
My question is if you cast the Magic Movement spell on a unit that has a character with the +d3 movement on it can the unit benefit from both abilities?
If so that wold be a possible 23 inch charge range from infantry. That would be nice.
Basically, Bray Shaman / Tze Wargor with the Dark Heart and Staff of Darkoth in a unit of Bestigor.
10" march, 10" + D3" magical charge;
assuming the spell is cast, the opponant will likely be wanting to shut it down lol. Although, if they dont know about the DH, and you can set up a charge distance of just under 11", could be a very deceptive and nasty combo. Nice one
I dont think this works because The Wild Call spell can only be cast on a unit that is "within its normal charge range of an enemy".
Tarkin is correct - you have to be in your normal charge range, adn since the enemy can only hold as a reaction anyway, it won't help. Nice thinking though
Indeed... shame. Guess i need to go find a way to make it work now! Still, a 20" charge is still possible.
