Careful with your use of the Caps Lock key please, to some, over excessiveness can come across the wrong way.
Aside from that, personally i dont think DoC are they overpowered to be honest, you just need to exploit their weaknesses. Beasts have little to no ranged capability, which would help due to their low toughness. Try looking ate baiting with hound, and flanking with lots of attacks, making them lose combat and go 'poof' in their clouds of daemonic smoke lol.
Yes, all ye facing Daemons shall abandon all hope.
However, if you're not in the mood to roll over and concede the game before it's started, then sit down and look over the Daemon army book. Figure out what the strengths and weaknesses of units/combinations are. Then find a way to exploit those weaknesses with your army while defending you weaknesses. Easy in theory, not necessarily in practice.
It`s almost imposible to say do this or do that to counter the Daemons. With the ability to mix units they have so many options. Lets face it, with our herds running at Ld 7 and thiers all causing fear its an uphill battle. And good luck with the poofing thing. I`ve had flank and rear charges on those same flesh hounds and still had them kick booty. I love my army, but I am waiting for the new beasts to take on the Daemons again.
Take lots of chariots - they are rock solid against demons, mainly because they can cause hmpact damage even before the enemy can strike. ANd adding plnety of fear causers of your own is a good way to go. In fact I'd say its the only way to go. Une the benefits of terrain to your advantage, your units are all pretty effective at moving through woods without penalty, just don;t face demons on an open battlefield.
Make sure you get flank charges - NOT rear charges, as that brings too many enemy to the party - and yes demons WILL mince you troops playing to their strengths. Flank and move is a must.
have you tried Centigors vs. Demons? They are fast, and pretty hard hitting as well.
By the way flesh hounds don't have hatred.
