Really really noob of me, but what does "MSU" refer to when saying "...my MSU Minotaurs..." etc? Is this "Musician, Standard, XX" and if so, what does the "U" refer to?
As I've heard it, it means Multiple Small Units. Basically the principle entails taking small, minimally costed units to present as many threats as possible. Usually it entails bringing units at the minimum unit size i.e. 3 minotaurs, 1-2 razorgors, etc. Could get into more detail, but you should get the picture.
Great thanks for the reply, it does make sense. Maybe the mods can cobble together a list of commonly used acronyms. I've been playing for a long time, but I haven't really consulted forums or anything like that until very recently, therefore, while fluent in the game itself, i sometimes miss salient facts due to minimal exposure to the "lingo".
Here's a few others for you.
2HW or ADH = 2 hand weapons or additional hand weapons
BSB = Battle Standard Bearer
BRB = Big Red Book, aka rule book
Can't think of any else to get goofed up on.
