I've been wanting to start a Beastmen fantasy army, and i've always kinda seen them as the "children of chaos". And I was wanting to display the rampant mutations that chaos can cause, even within the creatures of chaos.
So I guess my questions is this: Would a beastmen army with rampant mutations (Such as the mutations found within the chaos spawn box), have a fluffy, and still maintain the character of the Beastmen? Or would it possibly be too over-the-top?
It can work. It's possible to "kit-bash" other 20mm man-sized model sets into a horde of mutants following the rules for ungors or even gors.
I'm planning on doing something with my old skaven infantry models, as well as something similar to those in Island of Blood.
