I know it's an extremely low point game but I was wondering if there was any advice. I know I'll be going against a lot of shooting so I was going to try and field as many troops as possible without sacrificing my leadership bubble. Ambush is nice but too inconsistent in my opinion. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ambush is a bit too big a risk at this low a point total. If the guys don't show up, that's a huge chunk of your army that you'd be missing.
The first thing that I recommend is investing in a unit or two of screeners - if the Handgunners' vision is blocked by some crazy Ungor Raiders running out in front of your Gors, chances are they won't hit you as much. You've already picked up on the notion that you'll need lots of guys, but I'll add something to that in mentioning that you need good Leadership - otherwise, your guys might just turn tail and flee, and we obviously don't want that. I'd recommend a Wargor in a unit of Bestigors with a Standard of Discipline for Leadership 9.
