Im gonna be using a Beastman army in an escalation leauge for a warband campaign. Im wondering if I should use a Wargor or a Brey-shaman as a comander. Is magic really that worthwhile? and if I should use the Shaman, what lore?
You could get a wargor of Tzeentch, but that's pricey. I'd suggest a wargor for his combat skills. I guess you could always take the Goretooth on a bray shaman and hope to get Bear's Anger off at least once. Then you can take death for an easy to cast magic missile.
Just a thought.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
Go with the wargor for sure. He has sweet combat stats for his points. Magic isn't good (in my opinion) in small points or skirmish type games.
I agree with Green Knight, magic won't achieve much in tiny games, take the Wargor equipped with a few choice magic items (keep it cheap and cheerful though!)

WARGORS r cool
