im not that familiar with beast herds, so i would like to know how these work in combat..
i've heard that when charging(using 12 gors and 8 ungors), they can rank up like this:
gors in front using add. hwps.
ungors in back ranks using spears..
is this how it work?
and will they in this case loose the ungors attacks with spears when they charge?(you know.... moving spear units, fight with fewer ranks)
hope you can help me..
the ungors get to use thier spear only on the turn after the charge or when receiving a charge (just as you mentioned)
don't he gors ''move up on the second combat turn as well?
This is all clearly covered on pages 18-19 of the Beasts of Chaos army book, I suggest you look there. Wolf_Pack, the command and gors move forward when charged/charging, as in immediately. And all of the gors fill in the front ranks, and the ungors take up all the back ranks.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
