Hello all, i have been playing fantasy for about 1 and a half years now (i have a 4000 point Vampire Army) and the beasts are calling to me. I am going to play a Nurgle all beast army, no daemons or mortals, just beasts. I was wondering how to go about starting this army and what units are best. all i know right now is that i will soon be buying the codex, 2 bokes of gors and a beastlord and a bray shaman. Is this a good start? Please send advice
Sounds good to me, but isn't this exactly what is in the beastmen boxed army perhaps you should get that to see if you can save yourself some money.
They have a Beastmen boxed army?!:w00t: where did you find one?
They, um, don't. Unless Deek is talking about the starter army (with the limited edition standard bearer), which is only made in small supply and only sold when the army is first released.
If you're talking about the beastmen "battalion" on the US online store, it's not. Battalions are all plastic, and beastmen have only normal beast herds in plastic, so that would be an awful battalion. What you get through that is exactly what they show, but in separate boxes, so it doesn't hurt to buy it all separate.
Though if it is an army box, I'd gladly take the standard off your hands. In exchange for money, of course, unless you're feeling generous that is  .
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
Thanks for the info , and if i did somehow manage to get a battalion bx with the special edition standard i would NEVER get rid of that model.
