o.k i was lookin through the Beast book today and was looking at the shaggy info stuff, and it says he is in all respects a Lord when he has a Mark. Well as you all may know most if not all Lords in Warhammer (save special charectors) can have 100 points of magic items. Can a Shaggoth Lord have 100 points of magic items when he has a mark and is considered a Lord?
Nope...sorry, but shaggoths cannot get magic items...it should be in the same part. You might have just missed it. I personnally think shaggoths stink as generals for that reason.
Shaggoth Lords (Shaggy was a guy from Scooby-Doo...) are very bad as generals because;
a) they move fast and although their Ld is excellent, they're ofter too far away for their troops to use it
b) they can't have any magic items
c) they are large targets and often attract a lot of shooting
The only reason you would want a Shaggoth Lord is to enable him to take a Mark. So Shaggoth Lords are only really practical in 3000 point games.
