Two Questions about BoC
1) With that fellow they call the Foe-Render, you can have one in each herd i believe. How could i make a Gor look different to represent a Foe-Render?
2) I already have one heard with all my gors having two hand weapons, with my second herd should i give them shields instead of the extra hand weapon or not? Shields only give a 6+ save to them right?
hi there.. here are some suggestions:
1) Indeed.. the foe-rende is the unit's champion and you can have one of them in each herd.. I would give the foe render the gor-head with the helm.. and maybe make a double-headed axe for him? and the best: place him on a rock, for him to command his herd
2) I wouldn't bother giving them shields, not gors nor ungors... add. handweapon is awesome, and you would only get 5+ Armour Save in close combat(+1 for shield and +1 for hand weapon+shield combined)
. in addition, you could let the heard be lead by a wargor std. bearer with the vitriolic banner, and with 2 hand weapons in first rank and spears in second, that equals a hell lot of poisoned attacks
hope this helps..
Thanks, very helpfullOriginally Posted by And
But can you buy this wargor standard chappy from GW as a minature or would i have to build it myself?
well,, the only army std. bearer made is a special model from the army deal, which i dont see in any shops around my country..
then you could use the bestigors std. bearer, they have armour, and looks tough..
and finally yoou could convert one.. im going to use a army std. bearer too, and im gonna convert one outta the wargor with 2 hand weapons.. dont know how, but the model is sweet
Awesome, good luck with thatOriginally Posted by And
i have made my BSB out of a gor from the beast heard. he has the standard on his back. ive given him a Lizardmen arm (scaly... i play Nurgle :w00t: ), and a beast hand. for his right arm, i have used the standard bearers arm. on top of it, i have placed the mace head instead of the banner. he has also got mutating spikes and tentacles all over the place, and from the back, there is sprouting out a second head. .... it looks really cool..
someday ill just HAVE to take some pictures of my minis.... wehn i have time..
