Okay, I've got a bit of a thorny rules question here. It may have been raised before, but I couldn't find it in any previous topics.
A Tuskgor Chariot has a mark of Undivided that can't be changed for a Mark of a specific god, correct?
Under the Beastlord entry, it states that when permitted a Beastlord can ride a chariot chosen as normal from the list. All good so far?
Supposing the Beastlord has a Mark of a specific god. He can then only join units with the same mark. Since chariots can only have Mark of Undivided, a Beastlord with a Mark of a god can't be mounted in chariots because the Marks are different.
Have I got that right?
It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value. - Arthur C. Clarke (1917 - 2008)
basically the book is screwed up. On page 51 and 60 it specifically talks about marking chariots and how the characters have to match the chariot/units they are with, but then the book never gives us the price for marking chariots in the army selection section. You might be able to get away with putting the character in a HoC chariot that is marked, I haven't read the restrictions on their chariots in a while (don't think they have them) or use their price to create a marked beast chariot.
My understanding: Beast chariots are undivided, and can't be marked (no prices for marks provided). So undivided characters can ride them, and no others.
This is just my understanding, and the rule of the club I play in. I haven't seen an official ruling on the matter, and the BoC book is contradictory.

Arena of Death Champion: Nexim of the Guldskullz Tribe. Fear my wrath!
I brought this up with a games workshop store manager where i play and he said you just use the price in the HoC rulebook for marking chariots. I have been playing like that there and at my home for about a year now so i hope he is right.
