What's that? It#'s time for me to wake up? Why indeed it is, for I have been lazy in blogging recently.

As a quick update I managed to get a fair amount of painting done recently, still haven't finished all the stuff I'm doing for other people but it's getting there. Slowly.

Hopefully by the end of December I'll have the majority of my infantry done, with the eye to doing the heavy weapons in the new year. Then it's pretty much tanks all the way (barring my steel legion,...

Well, life is a little less hectic right now than it has been, so balancing everything has become a little easier. I started a new role in my job this week which now means I'll be working nights 4 times a week. This frees up another few nights for painting and the like. So here's what's going on with my various projects at the moment:
Elf mage- in progress, about half done, still some white on the robes to be done and detail.
Secret santa- skin done, basecoated. Nothing else yet....

Well, mostly non-GW. Here's the only GW bit for those who've been following my blog in any way. my duel miniature has finally been started, 2 days before the deadline! I don't know whether or not I'll finish it on time, what I do now though is that I won't be seeing my friend til next week sometime so I can give it to her then!

Well, another week has passed with not a great deal happening and a lot stacking up. To be done in my life this week are, in no particular order:
-Paint a model for a hobby duel, or at least make a start on it.
-Do some more on the sniper team I'm doing for another friend
-Decide on my ToP minis for this week.
-Take a driving lesson plus practical test.
-Visit my dad to pick up some tickets for the NFL match in London this weekend.
-Travel to London.
-Call...

I was fiddling around with my valkyrie earlier, well, I say valkyrie, I mean soon to be vendetta, and realised quite how much of a pain in the neck its going to be to put together and paint. It's been sitting in a box in a state of semi-assembledness for a little while now, and as I went for a final push earlier today I realised that there wasn't a lot I could do modelling wise until I paint the various subassemblies, of which there are about 5!
