An update about me.

Well, since I last wrote a blog about my wrist injusy two things have happened:
1. On Monday I was walking down a steep-ish bit of road, slipped on some berries that had fallen from a tree and fell over. Unfortunately, I landed right on my injured wrist, sending waves of pain through it once more, making it worse than it already was.
2. I went to the Doctor's surgery on Tuesday and she had a look at it. After determining there was no strength in the wrist she declared that it was sprained, that I'd stretched some of the tendons in it that weren't meant to be stretched and that it'll take about 2 weeks to heal, longer now that I've aggravated it by falling on it and working through the pain.
So I'm now on 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours, wearing a tubi-grip on and off and completely unable to hold anything for more than a few seconds in my left hand. This has meant any chance of work, video gaming and painting has gone completely out the window, although I did manage to do a little converting earlier.
The implications this has for me o the hobby side of things is that the 2 sets of presents I'm working on for friends have been put on hold, as has my ToP project (I may get a commissar done for it, IF I'm lucky) and my hobby duel with InquisitorAffe has been heavily delayed (the source of my potential commissar!).
So yeah, this kinda sucks at the moment, making it all the more exciting that I'm getting married next year (we now have a date) and that I can press on with doing things for that.

Thanks
It should be rather daunting trying to plan a wedding with her studying for an english degree and writing a dissertation and me working nights as of next month! Still, it's al going well so far ...
Thanks for the well wishes. It's really frustrating cause I'd recovered enough over the weekend to do a whole load of freehand detail on the back of the coat, with a beautiful golden aquila taking up most of the lower half with a smaller one in each of the bottom corners. They still need a few highlights to finish them off as they look AWFUL at the moment because they're so flat.
