Well, since I last wrote a blog about my wrist injusy two things have happened:

1. On Monday I was walking down a steep-ish bit of road, slipped on some berries that had fallen from a tree and fell over. Unfortunately, I landed right on my injured wrist, sending waves of pain through it once more, making it worse than it already was.

2. I went to the Doctor's surgery on Tuesday and she had a look at it. After determining there was no strength in the wrist she declared that...

Well, I'm kind of well enough to paint again. I had a good afternoon's worth of painting time today and managed to paint for about half of it (whilst resting in between). I know it's only been a few days that I've been unable to paint but it got me thinking about how patient those guys who have something major go wrong must be.

I've been really inspired to paint this week and have been completely unable to. This has been very frustrating for me, despite now being able to hold a paintbrush...

Due to my current inability to paint thanks to a muscular problem in my arm I have suddenly been bitten by the converting bug and realised how much fun a good kitbash can be, and also how flexible the IG command box is. I bought one the other day to have a play with and some results are starting to happen.

Right now, on my desk is an officer with 2 powerfists kitbashed and sliced up from various sources. I even had to pilfer a spare one off another chap, who now has a new 'fist from...

I managed to hurt my wrist yesterday. Not badly mind, but enough that a trip to A+E later confirms I won't really be able to paint properly for a good few days.

This got me thinking. There's a heck of a lot to do with this hobby of ours. I have some free time tomorrow that I was planning on using for painting that now looks like I'll be using to either do some fluff writing or some scenery making (wrist permitting). It might even be a chance to get a game or 2 in.

Well, this blog is to cover three things that have irked me recently. The first of them being space wolves.

The new kits look beautiful. The detail is incredible and there's some really cool ideas on there. However, why is it GW can never sculpt a good hairstyle! I looked at some of the ones on the new wolf pack sprue and cringed! They're no better than some of the old ones and some remind me of THAT dark eldar head. You know, the one that makes you want to poke your eyes out.
