I was writing a 1500 point IG armylist yesterday to play vs my girlfriend and realised something pretty cool, the list I wanted and wrote out HAVING NOT ADDED IT UP PREVIOUSLY came to 1495 points, leaving me 5 points to spend on tank upgrades. Its not even like this was a "common" list for me, I rarely play these days and its mostly at lower point totals if I do. I was just impressed at how accurate my guesstimation was.

I was browsing the GW website earlier and clicked on an article I've seen plenty of times but haven't thought to read- "becoming legendary".

Now, my GW knowledge is pretty good and my enthusiasm for all aspects of the hobby is unquestionable: I paint, model, play, read, make scenery, pretty much everything to do with the hobby. I also play most of the systems and own at least a small army for them.

I finally managed to break my empire army out of their case yesterday and get a game in. I was up against a magically strong chaos army with a lot of knights. and when I say a lot, I mean a LOT! 3 units of between 5 and 8 knights plus some marauder horsemen, and minimal foot troops jammed full of casters.

I had a lot of stubborn (greatswords) and unbreakable (flagellants) troops and was decided to push them up the middle first. The plan was to bait the knights into charging either them...
