Well my resolution to start posting a regular blog on here didn't last long... let's say "semi-regular" as an all purpose get out clause.

I wrote an Apocalypse Datasheet today, which you can find in this thread, after I was struck by a bout of inspiration. It led me to think though, why am I doing it when chances are I'll never use it?

It's nice to make these things up for other people, but obviously when I think up a new unit or whatever, my thoughts are...

I like the money for overtime but there's not much to do at the moment.

I should have brought in some minis and some paints, I could get quite a bit done in 3 hours of more or less peace.

Hell if the desks weren't such an odd shape I could have gotten a mate to come in for a game!

I've been trying to think how many points of Apocalypse army I can fit onto an 8' x 4' table. I think if I play marines with lots of Formations I can probably fit near to 10,000 on without breaking the table...

I made a slightly more complicated than necessary excel spreadsheet to help me ponder it and so far I got about 7500 points with only 140 odd infantry and about 8 vehicles (thought two of those are a Warhound and a Valkyrie).
