Averland State Troops Progress

I finished painting my first 10 Averland state troops and just need to add the terrain:

    love the troops, but i would add one finishing touch to them. right now the silver, the yellow, and the flesh look really thick. i would add a wash or highlights to them, it would help a ton!

    I actually did do washes for both the flesh and the yellow, unfortunately they didn't show up very well in the photo. As for the silver I have tried to make a darker silver wash, but it didn't seem to mix it didn't seem to mix with the water very well.

    I'll probably be posting more photos with the completed unit of 30 swordsmen later this week/weekend(still working on the heads and shields for the last 10 ), where the washes will hopefully be more visible.

    ok cool! its nothing necessary, its just what i would do. hmm, well, if the washes don't show up, try highlights maybe?
