This blog is designed around my up and coming Chaos army. It is based around a minor Chaos god, Aurzhul. I plan to post background, pictures, rules, and fluff. It is also a place where I can promote my army idea to other players. Anyone can give support, constructive criticism, or just their thoughts on the idea itself. Find your inner plutocrat and enter the realm of Auzhul!
Aurzhul
All right soldiers of fortune, this is just an intro into the wonder that is our lord and master, Aurzhul. Over the coming summer I will be painting, buying, and hopefully playing this army to further our great message of greed and conquest.
First off, let's discuss the Chaos god Aurzhul itself. After all, how can we worship Aurzhul properly if we do not know what makes him greater than the four "major" gods.
Name: Aurzhul
Other names: The Wyrm King, The Bartering God, The Grand Reaper
Symbol: Flattened U shape that curls at the end (Will have a picture in a few weeks)
Primary Colors for Most Followers: Gold, Sivler, Gold, White, and Gold
Aurzhul is the manifestation of greed in the 40k Universe. He has power over those that seek material things according to their monetary value. If a society finds water valuable, then Aurzhul will seek that water whilst on a different world where water is in abundance, Aurzhul would not care for such worthles water. The goal is for our master to obtain everything of value, to own it all. The richer one is, the more comfortable they can live, and Aurzhul seeks the greatest comfort.
Our lord's true form is a great, golden, dragon whose body extends forever wrapping around a lush valley filled with his most prized posessions. His mighty wings wrap around the valley hiding his wealth from outside eyes. His own eyes however are ever numerous, covering his body watching his posessions endlessly, never blinking, never sleeping. They glisten red, ready to warn Aurzhul should anyone or anything try to steal from him.
Though our master lacks the raw power of the mighty four, he has survived well under them. The brute Khorne may see him as a coward, but cannot argue against the mighty weapons of destruction we lend to his champions, blades that were once invaluable to mighty civilizations long gone. Nurgle may see our master as a preserver, but when we steal a powerful medicine on a dying world, how can Grandfather Nurgle oppose our great efforts? Tzeentch may see us as pawns, but when we will fight for his great schemes for the proper, hefty payment, what more does he need? Only Slaanesh has given us any really trouble, wishing to drink our rare wines, bathe in our lakes of gold, defile our virgin attendants, and thus devaluing our wonderous cache. Slaanesh will be dealt with in time.
Our lord is far more generous than the big four. He will lend his best armor and weaponry to our warriors. Though in truth Aruzhul still is the posessor of this exquisite weaponry and of us, being able to wield fine blades and wonderfully designed pistols is a gift that others cannot have. Anything of any wealth that you can imagine Aurzhul can give you if you but give yourself to our master. After all, in this wartorn galaxy, soldiers are worth far more than anything else.
Next time, I'll discuss the heirarchy of the daemons under Aurzhul as well as some descriptions of our marines.
