General Blog Update (7/24/2009)

Just wanted to give anyone wo's been checking out the different sections of my blog a general update.
-Writing Corner: I have finished four of the five senses. it is something that has been on hold, but in time I'll finish it up along with multiple senses, or lack of senses. after that, I'll be up for requests.
-Lost 23: I'll post pics of what I hve for my first army before I head back to school early. I'll be taking the unpainted models with me to dabble with when I have time.
-Other armies: I also have some stuff done for my 40k Chaos Marine force. Ill get those pics up bfore I leave. The goal with that army is to have nearly everything one could hope for in the list... nearly. I think it's possible and reasonable iwth that army as opposed to say... Tyranids or Orks.
Also, I have an old kill-team revolved around a Rogue Trader which will eventually turn into a full 1500 point IG army. Funny enough, I have another twenty or so models to paint up, but I still don't have the list.
-Arenas: Still lugging at my Summer Arena. Check it out. I think it's going pretty well so far. As for my own characters, I have a few in arenas, and six more to go before I have one of every army entered.
-Future Plans: Well, if I can get some more done fr my giant Vampire Counts army I'm making, as well as get the other two near done, here are some of the other ideas I have...
1) Fire Elves: A different set of Elves, almost certain to use the Dark Elf rulebook. Probably will make them my one and only commission paint job with BlueTablePainting (good place). Of course, that has to wait until I can afford it and then some.
2) 40k Orks: This is one army I truly love. Some of the themes running around have been scrapyard, Khornate, freebooters, scavengers (tau equipment), and a couple others
3) Warbands! One idea to play games with friends who don't play Warhammer (all of them, funny enough), is to make myself 8 warbands of different armies, one for each acrchetype. Theme them, paint them, and have friendly games just like showing a new player chess or something.
4) Others. Of course i have other ideas from Eldar Corsairs, Genestealers, several different guard, and others that will just have to wait... perhaps always.
