Biel Tan Apocalypse Army

Welcome to my blog. Over the last few years I've been collecting an enormous amount of Eldar and have about 10,000pts worth now and that's pretty much every Eldar model in the current range.

This blog will track my progress as I paint my way through this horde of Eldar and I'll post any updates on significant battles that I've fought with them as well.

Happy reading.

  1. Warpspider Exarch and Harlequin

As promised the pics of the Exarch and my first Quin

I know the Exarch's power weapons are a bit "Christmas", but once you've gone down the red, white and green colour palette route you have to just accept that. Anyway Christmas is cool so I don't care that much.

I like how the Quin turned out, but the picture makes the yellow look a bit pants. I'll probably paint these guys ...

  2. Not sure what to paint next.

by on October 27th, 2009 at 18:49 (Biel Tan Apocalypse Army)
Not much to add at the moment. Completed the Warpspider Exarch and my first Harlequin. I'll put pics up at the weekend when I have good enough light to take some snaps.

Not sure what to paint next. I have a verisimilitude of options open to me - My heart says Cobra, but I really should focus on the core army and finish things like the wave serpent and the Fire Dragons or even the scorpions.

I think I'll pop over to the Eldar Forums and put a poll in place and delegate ...
  3. Howling Banshees and Jain Zar

by on October 18th, 2009 at 14:18 (Biel Tan Apocalypse Army)
As promised, here are some pics of my Howling Banshees squad.

I've decided to reverse the colour scheme for the armour on all my Exarch models and I think it looks particularly striking on the Banshee Exarch

Also, hot of the paint bench is Jain Zar. I have all the Phoenix Lords, but this is the ...
  4. The wander returns

by on October 15th, 2009 at 00:23 (Biel Tan Apocalypse Army)
Well, I'm back and blogging again. I started a new job so I got a bit distracted with the real world (and a BloodBowl Wood Elf team).

So what else have I been busy painting? Well I've finished a squad of Banshees and the chasis of my Fire Prism. I spent a lot of time on some Forge World Ork Nob Bikers and a little bit of time on a Grey Knights Dreadnought.

I've spent buckets of cash on even more models that I need to paint so no change there then. My most recent addition ...

  5. Walkers: Small and Big

by on April 16th, 2009 at 17:53 (Biel Tan Apocalypse Army)
As promised here's some pics of my finished War Walker squad. I'm quite happy with how they've worked out although the paintjobs are not particularly ambitious.

    And one on his own

I am still spending time with my Orks at the moment and have just finished my stompa (see pic below). I'll be working ...
