Dwarf color scheme

This is the first three of my dwarfs with a green and gold color scheme. They have been varnished and are going to get the base completed to match the gameboard. I have about 10 thunderers on the way and just have to wait for the primer to fully cure, before i start painting them. Takes a while when you use clear priming. More will soon follow.

    Hi FallVictim, these dwarves look great! I usually think of green as an elf color, but it really works on these guys. Your anvil of doom looks good, nice hefty model! It'll be a show piece in your army, yes? Keep up the great painting!

    Thanks, i was thinking over color schemes for two days until i settled with the green. When my codex arrived on Friday i found out the scheme works for the Karak Izor hold just with me substituting the bronze with gold.
