Vampire Counts

Well i finally have time to work on my models for this short summer break of three weeks before i go back to school. I only have a progress shot of the base i have been working on for the past week. Still got a long way to go as i have to make more tombstones to fill out the graveyard and plan how i am going to have my vampire lord mounted on the zombie dragon. More to come.

Well like i mentioned before i found a replacement for the zombie dragon that i will be using. It finally arrived and so far i have started progress on this conversion and just awaiting my bitz order to make the vampire lord. I have cleaned up most of the mold lines on this dragon and am planing out the base for this beast. I will be cutting the wing to re position it a bit. Teaser pic bellow

Well after looking around i finally found my replacement zombie dragon model, no pics now but be on the look out for a project thread some time soon. All i have to say is it is bigger and better then the gw sculpt.

Well after going through some boxes i found the rest of the vampire army. Now i have to just build the movement trays and two skeleton kits to get them on the table. I was looking at gamezone and decided on using the zombie wolves as direct replacements to the dire wolves as i am not a big fan of the sculpts. I will also be using the horse riders for my blood knights. The gw sculpts look terrible and are overpriced. Well at least i have a general idea on where to take this army and hopefully play ...

I recently acquired a box of skeletons and several reaper miniatures to progress my undead army. After a long sleep of two years I'm going to get them back on the working table and hopefully get some games in with them in the future.
