Memoirs of a Painter

Hello people of LO :3 I am Fern. (Some of you probably already read my introduction thread, so I'll forgo the random babbling and get right to the posting!)

Alright, trees. Love my cheap dollarama trees! And they're nice and easy to spruce (no pun intended) up and make a little more decent for the table.

They were also awesome because they weren't all the same shapes/heights/etc.

This is how they started out:


Not the best quality picture, but you can see that they came stuck in that ceramic dish with a rock (which is also useful for terrain! Two in 1 terrain for a dollar! )

Anyways, I unfortunately didn't take any WIP pictures...

But after replacing the crappy leaves (which I saved for possible future use ;3) painting the plastic to remove the shiny unnatural look, and adding toothpicks with green stuff for extra branches... here's the finished product: (obviously not the same tree though ;3)



Tah dah :3 A nice cheap easy tree.
