Tyranid Army Painting '10

Hello!

I have come back from the real world! Not to the same extent as before, but you might see me post a bit more often now. In the time that I have been away from LO, I only managed to paint a brood of Termagants. However, its the summer holidays now so I can try and pick up the pace a bit more. Without any more delay, I present you the Termagants!

Oh dear, time is ticking

Still working on those gaunts that I started two weeks ago, they are getting on my nerves.

After noticing how long it takes to paint my scheme, I decided that I should change my New Years resolution (while I feel that I still can).

Now it is to finish my 2000 point Tyranid Army by the end of the Summer. This should give me more freedom yet get me to work when I need to! I hope that I can do it.

Hey all,

I did not make it to this weeks deadline Not even close to finishing this week. Most of the gaunts don't even have their base green coat on yet.

In analysis of why I did not make this week, I have decided that it is because:

1) Too much time on LO. Yeah, thats right. With the new codex the only forums I hang out around have exploded with information, discussions, battle reports, questions, whining etc. I have noticed that since the release I would ...

There! Got through the first check point! It was not even close, but it did cost me quite a bit of Sunday!

I am happy with the result of the figures. The skin is nice and deep like I want it, and it is impossible to say which type of green it is. That is the result I want. The Carapace was very annoying, especially with the paint always flacking off the metal...

Everything went smoothly apart from the brain. That was a new and hard experiance for me, and took me 2 days ...
