hey welcome! This is not the best place to post (this is a blogpart, you can go to the threads about fantasy and post in one of the army sections, like the Skaven threads. More people see that than the blogs in here.

a problem with Chaos Dwarfs is that people use different books, The current book is from Forgeworld, called Tamurkhan, which is 8th edition, but some still use the really old Ravening Hordes rules, or an old indylist (home made, but accepted by alot of tournaments because it was just as good looking as other armybooks) The books are quite different, and it's hard to give advice without knowing what you are fighting.

I know a bit about chaos dwarf weaknesses, but im a Greenskin player myself, which might be a bit like your Skaven. Flanking them works wonders, because they often do not have enough units to protect their war machines from all directions. If you attack his infernal guards, make sure you have at least 2 units charging one being ranked up well, because those guys are tough as nails.
make sure you get to see some of the rules, if he cant show you what he's using, he's probably making stats up. Don't trust a Chaos Dwarf player ever! or any other Dwarf !

Thanks for the advice on where to post ( just learning my way around ) . You are quite rite he dose leave his war machines a bit exposed , I usually take them out ok it's just a really big horde unit I am struggling with . I will get some lists and then put the post in the right place .
