I got into GW hobbies via the store method, where they hook you up like a good little addict with paints, miniatures and a back ground so thick you'd splat when you hit it. Loved the grim darkness of the 40k universe, good wasn't 100% good all the time. And evil wasn't 2D. Then there was Warhammer...
