Played a 3 game tournament yesterday. Was a fun day overall. Went 2-0-1(first non-win this year ). Tournament special rules were: Open Lists, half points for fleeing units at end of game and 3 special scenarios. I played against O&G, DElf and DoW.

Here's a little write up about each game and then I'll go over each unit choice at the end.

Game 1
O&G
Rough List was 1 Lord Goblin, lots of hero goblins and 2 lv1s (bsb with poison banner). 2 Mangler ...

Made a few quick minor changes before playing:
Dropped 1 unit of dogs
Made the other unit 7 models
Gave my lv2 the channeling staff
Swapped the BSB shield for a halberd

The DrOgres did ok. They seemed like the odd man out. So used to having a 3 unit battle line, I felt stretched out. T4 and 12 wounds for the 190 points was nice and all, but I think I'll go back to the hellstriders. 6 striders saves me 57 points. Or I can go up to 9 striders and hit ...

Testing this list out today (as in 30 minutes from now):

Overall army is slower, but I think beefier. Dp and Chimera fly behind army and charge over it.
