So at some point I'm going to get sick of painting all these Guard units... When that happens I'm going to build up my new Marine army, which I've pretty much already bought. I've got 2500 points of Mech already planned out and bought. One thing I do know is that they will not be painted up to match my old chapter, the Obsidian Knights.

The only question is, what colors to go for... I'm very VERY tempted to paint them with white helmets, white legs and blue bodies.

As I move along at a snail's pace with the rework of all my 400+ guardsmen, I need to start using better naming conventions. For one thing, I'm getting the phonetic alphabet all screwed up. Thanks to Google I will try to pick one of the two following options:

I'm pretty tired of folks whining about Cheese, especially in 5th Edition and very especially about any army with a 4th edition or older Codex. The only armies, IMO that might still have some cheddar to them are Chaos Lash, 'nidzilla?, and Orks.

Now, what do I mean by cheese? I mean a list that is so strong that a bad player can win most of the time, and a good player can win almost all the time against a good player with a good list. NOT with a "fluffy" list.

I really love IG drop troops. I also know that the new Codex will probably take away most of my suicide squads of doom. There is, however, another army that I might be able to build to satisfy my deepstrike cravings... two actually... but...
