Well, here we go.

I generally keep my blogging type activities to my project thread, but I'm going to keep some unrelated stuff here. Mostly, I'm going to post up my ideas for future armies.
At least that is the plan for now. Who knows about tomorrow.
I really love IG drop troops. I also know that the new Codex will probably take away most of my suicide squads of doom. There is, however, another army that I might be able to build to satisfy my deepstrike cravings... two actually... but that other one is Drop Pods, and that isn't what I want.
The army I'm talking about is Daemons. Specifically, Tzeench. I'm working out a list that will allow me to use guardsmen as pink horrors and an Inquisitor for the Blue Scribes. Aside from that though, it is difficult fill out the units I want, tactics-wise compared to what makes sense models-wise.
The tentative name for this army is the Warp Raiders (or maybe Warp Riders).
I was thinking of painting a lightening bolt pattern on Steel Legion models with the Bolt of Tzeench represented by the missile launchers.
If I take Soul Grinders I might fashion Epic-style Knights from Defiler and/or Penitent Engine models. The hard parts are if I want chariots (Bikes maybe?) and flamers (Seraphim?) then I'd have to include Sisters Repenta as Bloodletters
Of course, it would make even more sense to just go with Eldar for this. I own a pile of useless Guardian models already.
Horrors: Guardians
Soul Grinders: Wraithlords
Flamers: Warp Spiders
Blue Scribes: Eldrad
Any chariot: Jetbike.
It could be a cool fallen Eldar thing. Escaping Slannesh by binding themselves to Tzeench.
