So it has been awhile since my last post. Big reason is that my camera broke and I wasn't able to get any pictures up... It has also been too hot to paint. At any rate I have still continued to game about once a month or so.

Just finished the defiler. Not 100% satisfied but it will do. It is time to move on. I am currently working on 5 possessed chaos space marines. Hopefully will have them finished next week or so...

Don't have pictures quite yet but I am almost done with the defiler. I have spent probably 10 hours painting this beast and have probably a few more to go...

When I approached my black legion army it was with the attitude of producing a quick(ish) army that is clean and tidy focusing on the little things for details to make them pop.

This figure to me has been annoying from the start. From fitting it together and cleaning up all the mold lines, to painting... I tried...

Has it really been 4 months? Needless to say I fell into a slump of no painting and wow... it is already the end of May.

I am not sure if the Tale of Painters is still on or not - but at any rate I was chatting with PatternMaker and gaming is still a go in the near future... The only catch... having a fully painted playable army...

Soooo last night I broke out the brushes once again and spent nearly 3 hours working on a defiler (that I had originally started in January)...

So this month I am working on my defiler and will also finish basing my Possessed Chaos Space Marines and paint them as well.

I have cleaned and mostly assembled the defiler. Initially I was thinking I would do a little conversion work and convert the guns into lascannons but I just don't have the time nor the money to really work on that right now... so I am doing this one up pretty vanilla and out of the box.

If I add a second one later I may do some conversion...
