Defiler continued...

Don't have pictures quite yet but I am almost done with the defiler. I have spent probably 10 hours painting this beast and have probably a few more to go...

When I approached my black legion army it was with the attitude of producing a quick(ish) army that is clean and tidy focusing on the little things for details to make them pop.

This figure to me has been annoying from the start. From fitting it together and cleaning up all the mold lines, to painting... I tried to save myself some trouble of assembling it into 2 pieces which I would glue together when done. Ideally I should have left off all the legs and claws as well.

It matches pretty good with the rest of my units but as a whole is is rather bland. Perhaps it is just my clouded judgement due to me not having much enjoyment but I can see now why I took such a long break from the hobby! LOL

At any rate it is nearly done and I hope to have some pictures pretty soon. The good news is that I am a good ways into my possessed squad as well so they should be done without too much trouble!
