Tale of Gamers - L.A. Battle Bunker

So it has been awhile since my last post. Big reason is that my camera broke and I wasn't able to get any pictures up... It has also been too hot to paint. At any rate I have still continued to game about once a month or so.

Big news is that there has been new interest in the Tale of Painters and we now have another player joining us. Now it will be Chaos Space Marines vs. Eldar vs. Space Marines. I am quite looking forward to it. For the next 2 months it will be catch up for the ...

Just finished the defiler. Not 100% satisfied but it will do. It is time to move on. I am currently working on 5 possessed chaos space marines. Hopefully will have them finished next week or so...

So this month I am working on my defiler and will also finish basing my Possessed Chaos Space Marines and paint them as well.

I have cleaned and mostly assembled the defiler. Initially I was thinking I would do a little conversion work and convert the guns into lascannons but I just don't have the time nor the money to really work on that right now... so I am doing this one up pretty vanilla and out of the box.

If I add a second one later I may do some conversion ...

So I met up last night and we showcased our small armies... My small Black Legionish army has a chaos terminator lord and two 10 man Chaos Space Marine squads...

He is playing Eldar and he had a few squads and was working on a wraithlord (I think I really don't know Eldar that well) and a seer... He hadn't quite finished painting them up but they are turning out nice.

I had planned on bringing my camera but in my rush to get everything ready I forgot it at home. ...

Well it has finally come - tonight is the first meet. I think we will try a few small games (armies are not very big at all now...)

I kind of went over what I was supposed to paint this month now that I go back and tally...

For the first month I painted up:

Champion with plasma pistol and power weapon
one upgraded to a plasma gun
one upgraded to a melta gun
