Hi guys, Iv been asked to play in a Warhammer 1000 point tournament this weekend. Iv been play testing an army that is based around just dispelling magic and hitting the opponent. Iv played 3 battles with it and won 2 of them, the 3rd was against chaos and there warriors killed a unit of swordmaster and whitelions, due to fleeing and being run down. So i have removed the white lions and increased the number of swords to hopefully not lose and stay steadfast.

My army is as follows:

Mage

Noble
- Great Weapon

Spearman x 19
- Full Command

Special - In ranks of 6

Swordmaster x 20 - Noble and Mage go in with these
- Champion
- Standard

I was hoping to get some advise, and see what you would maybe field? I have to play several battles with one army, so it has to be fairly balanced to deal with it. We will be playing the missions from the new rulebook on a 6' x 4' table, just to give you an idea of whats happening
