Kabal of The Deadly Mist

First an Update, this ravager played in the battle report but its a good profile shot. I am not pleased with it... I have to do it again. The green highlights are WAY to thick... grr.




I am also working on my warp beasts... using Warg models from the LoTR range.


Had a game today. 3K Points, on a 9 by 4 Cities of Death battle at our LGS.
I played my friend Wade. He started in the hobby about a year ago, and has come a long way since then. He challenged the Dark Kin to a game... His list was something like this:

Master
- Command Squad
Sicarius

Dreadnought

10 Terminators

10 Tacticals X 3 One with Rhino

10 ASMS

6 Man Bike Squad

2 Land Raiders
2 Predator Destructors

Anyway. DE cap out at about 2500pts (when it comes to units that I like to take. Also, because of lack of models my list varied a bit, and I was probably playing with a few less points.

Archon+ 6 INcubi + Raider

Dracite + Wyches (agon succubus) + Raider

2 x Wych Squads + Raiders
Warp Beast pack
10 Mandrakes

5 Raider squads (3 with agon sybarites all 8-9 strong)
1 Warrior Squad with 2 lances

9 RJB with Succubus with Punisher, TH, 2 Shredders

3 Ravagers, 2 with triple dissies.

That is about it.

The Table in the middle of the action:


So we played table quarters and loot markers, 5 objectives. Because we had set up the table in CoD fashion we decided to put all the objectives in different buildings.
I got first turn... and he failed to steal the initiative.

On first turn, I blew up 2 land raiders... and one predator... and killed 5 ASMS... he could not roll a cover save to save his life!
Nevertheless, although the game went quickly downhill for him he did not give up easily!... he killed all the wych squads, made the Archon flee the table (without even getting to see combat). The Archon dismounted... and proceeded to roll two 2's on diff terrain dice, needing a 3 to get stuck in. This lead to the marines getting ready to open fire on them, causing them to fall back!... and never return.
