I meant to post these yesterday but I watched football all day and than fell asleep. :] Here's the first squad.









I'm pretty happy with the Autocannon. Just cut the end off a Loota and pinned the Autocannon to the end, easy and looks nice.

Most of the models have their eyes done but the camera isn't that great so you can't see it. I may attempt to do their teeth but I'm happy with them as is.

I'm grabbing a lot of models to make my Ork list this week. Going to be a lot more Boyz, some Night Goblins with Bows to be my Grots (they look better) and a lot of making custom Lootas. I'm going to shoulder mount various heavy weapons (a lot of Eldar guns) and just run wiring from the back of the gun into the models hand as a firing stud. Should look pretty good.

I only got in one game this Saturday, it was pretty dead. I played a Deathwing guy and tabled him in 4 turns. Not much to write home about, we played 5 objectives, Pitched Battle. He gave me first turn and it was pretty much over.

This week I'll be testing my 2000 list so updates will be about that for awhile. Two guys I know are already play-testing for the tournament, Eldar and IG. They played a really awesome game but it looks like the Eldar player fudged his math so he had a decent bit over 2000.

More pics to come this week, hopefully some characters and maybe some armor if I feel I'm not to behind on my infantry.

    The game versus Deathwing was with your Ork-IG list or with your Ork list?

    Nice pictures! I like the rusty appearance.
    The autocannon is very good, but shouldn't you base it on a 40mm base as with the IG codex it would have to be a heavy weapons team and should have comparable size?

    I won with my IG list, I don't have the models to play Orks right now, not even at 1500.

    I'm going to magnetize the gunner and the loader to 40mm bases. Right now I just put them both on it but if I magnetize them I can use them in the Ork army as well. I guess they'll be a little raised but who would really complain about that?

    Excellent autocannon - looks like he means business.
    Have you thought of using flat 40mm base or just cutting out a disc and building up the level to the individual base heights with something like Milliput. (ie sort of mini-diarama base) and can still use magnets to hold them in. I find Milliput very strong and easy to work with - but it's courser than green-stuff so better and cheaper for things like bases.

    That Autocannon is looking cool. I Cut holes in my HW bases for the 25mm ones to slot into, stick a bit of card on the bottom to stop them falling out everytime you move them and you should be fine.

    I'm liking the Valk mate, have your thought of a way of doing the Blades yet???

    Not really. I tried positioning them on the Lascannons but they don't fit. They're to thin to pin easily as well. I may place them between to strips of plasticard as a tail rotor off the back, we'll see.
