I'm a newbie to the Warhammer game and decided to take the Bretonnians as I like the background fluff and they seemed to have an easier army list to choose from. However I would like some advice on my army list below but I will give you some fluff
I see this army as a small skirmisher army and so it would a good chance for Knight Errants to prove their valor, courage, bravery etc. Therefore I wanted a nice size unit of these guys, a unit bigger than the Knights of the Realm. I was thinking my KOTR would become a unit with the Battle Standard Bearer and Paladin Hero, who would in theory take on some of the more elite troops of the opponent.
I like the 20 Men-at-Arms for rank bonus, couple with the musician and standard bearer for that extra edge.
I have the Damsel for the magic phase as I don’t want to have a major weakness in any phase of the game.
The one thing I am concerned about is my choice of Magic Items to characters. Anyhow any advice on this army list is much welcome and thank anybody who takes the time to give some feedback.

Welcome to Fantasy and Bretonnia. One general tip for playing with Bretonnia is, Always Pray. The ward save is well worth letting your opponent choose who has first turn. Let's take a look at your list.
Pretty much agree with Spec above. Have i just missed it, are the Bowmen Skirmishing? If not, make them so. better than static guys, tactically atleast.
Dropping one Errant Knigh, one Realm Knight, the Lv2 from the Damsel, the M@A champ, a few bowmen maybe if neded, and by making your Characters a bit cheaper (Mundane equipment is fine for now) Then i think you should be able to get in a second unit of 5 Realm Knights, and hence have a Character in each unit (General/BS. The Damsel should be fine with the Pesants, or even loose another Errant and have her central to their lance, adding her mag res. to the unit will be good.
