I have no idea what to use so any tips, advice and recomendations would be great.

Well, for starters youll need a General and a BSB, thats your Characters sorted. 1 Core unit of Realm Knights is a must, and id recommend 6 Errants with their Magic Banner too. Also, a skirmishuing unit of Bowmen can be handy. Finally, a unit of 3 Pegasus is a must for almost all Bret armies.

why 3 pegasus knights for a must? vs. VC are numbers not more important?

also the game has been changed to 1kpts

True, numbers are probably important. Pegasi are good in a generic list, but if you dont think theyll have a role then just use more Knights instead. Although 3 PKs get 10A... and the Pegasi tend to be more lethal than the Knights lol.

Its very tempting to run a paladin with a royal pegasis (altho i already have a bsb and paladin/lord model on horses) , i'm working on my list now so it'll be up in a few secs, the first one.

Why not just work on 1 list that you like, and play it both games. That way you will be able to see what adjustments you need to make from game 1 to game 2. You'll get a better feel for the units ect, ect.

paladin, virtue of knightly temper, lance, shield, barded mount, guantlet of duel 130

Paladin, bsb, barded mount, virtue of duty 104

knights errant x8, full command, errantry banner 203

    men-at-arms x20, spears, full command 127

Ok i've decided to base my army around the battle force, so how is this for an army? It will cost me £86 Which is fairly cheap for 1000 points i think.

    List 1000
    Spent 982
    Left 18
    Model Count 59

XD every bret army looks similar no difference in units / gameplay
From expirience i would get pegs knights of men at arms cuz of there ability to flank charge /marchblock. u can get these later down the road cuz men at arms can be handy as well
