Hey I was in a warbands tournament last week so I decided to run Bretonnians, I made up my 500 point list and beat all 5 of my opponents (one of which was a Bretonnian player), the rules were you could only have one hero that had to be 150 pts or less and atleast one core, check it out
BSB Paladin on Barded Warhorse w/ Virtue of Duty, Warbanner - 129
8 Kotr Banner, Champion - 210
6 Kotr Banner, Champion - 162
What types of lists should Bretonnians run at 500 (peasants, pegs, trebuchets etc), please comment
Archers, archers and more archers. I have joined an escalation league and I have two units of archers, one stakes and one sirmishers. The rest of my points is Knights of the Realm, and two heroes.
So far I have won two games. And the archers have more than paid for their points.
I am definiteley going to try that, Ill probably take alot of archers, maybe a trebuchet,...
playing with the tre. will get you experience with guessing ranges. For it to work it has to hit. I do not use one myself nor have I seen one used but I have played against the empire. Their general was extremely good at ranging. When I made that comment he said he ought to be as he had been playing them for three years.
