Im intrigued by your Character, could we get a breakdown? In another thread if you like (or maybe it exists and ive missed it, in which case oops, and sorry lol)
Overall the list looks pretty standard and usable. Possibly make the 9 errants into 8 KotR and put the other damsel with them? Having a damsel with the Grails means that im assuming you plan to run them 3x2? If so, id recommend a single rank of 5 following that you move the damsel as above.
good idea about the list.
By the way could someone outline the differences between errants and kotr.
As for the character
equipment=heavy armour, warhorse, lance, sireen's locket, virtue of the hunt
Virtue of the hunt= One turn per game the bearer is treated as flying and unit strenth 5
In addition, the bearer may not join units. Also, at the start of the bret first turn, mominate one enemy model. Against that model, the bearer re-rolls all failed rolles to hit and wound.
Not to much on the character plz although I would like to know if you think he's ok for 300 points. Thanks again.
You didn't pay for the Grail Vow on the BSB.
Too many points in characters. I'd advise taking one of the two lords. Interesting custom build, but I don't think he needs to be 300pts. Consider him in relation to the Green Knight's cost.
The units seem okay, but overall the list doesn't strike me as an effective one. I think this could be remedied with another unit of two bought with the points of one of the lords.
"...and thee shall know the Emperor's might when thy enemies fall before thy guns. No crude Orkish blade can pierce thy anointed armor, nor any twisted alien resist the sting of thy sword." ~Major Kaelen Rhodes
As for the character thing, my campain character doesnt take up a fo slot.He has been with me through many campains and is my best friend. (That was a joke btw) I really want to avoid dropping him if possible.Do you think 275 is an exceptable price? Also The illegal bsb has been changed.thanks
The list seems fine indeed. Though I would lower the number of archers to 10, but I don't know what to do with that number of points. Maybe loose a few men-at-arms as well for a 4th pegasus knight or loose the entire archer unit for a unit of mounted yeomen.
On the character, I think 275 will be a nice number. Compare it to a normal Lord and start adding points:
Lord+ barded warhorse+lance+sireen's locket = 192 pts.
The virtue of the hunt can be decomposed into:
re-roll to hit part: Similar to the Virtue of Audacity/Confidence. Widers choice of targets, but only one choice. Let's say 20 pts. As the Tress of Isoulde.
The 1 turn fly: is like the Lizardmen Charm of the Jaguar warrior. Only a little more reliable and for a model which is already alone and on horseback. But it is more reliable (no dispell possibility). Let's say 25 pts.
Adds up to 237 pts. with only the 1 turn unit strength 5 left. I don't think this should be undervalued as it allows for flanking. So 250 will probably be too low, but anyway upwards of 270 pts. will probably stop reasonable opponents from complaining.
Good luck in your campaign.
curses my character has had a stat increase.(+1 attack and +1 toughness)
what shall I do?
ignore it. Keeps points cost the same but lose a bit of the narritive
Keep it. change points cost.
on the bright side to do it he killed a dragon, 3 cold one chariots, crone hellebron, 2 sorcerreses, 10 repeater crossbowmen, 2 units of dark riders, 10 shades and a master in two games(Including run downs of course)
