I finished a lance of eight knights today. I really like the way they turned out. I used the same painting technique that I used on my Wood Elves and couldn't be happier with the results. I took some pictures. The heraldry look like they stand out, but that's mostly due to the flash. Under normal light, they blend in really well on the shields and caparisons.
The heraldry is inspired by the Kingdom Hearts games. All my characters (and Questing Knights, if I ever use them) will have converted Keyblades for weapons.
Anyways, here is my list:
Lance, Morning Star, Barded Warhorse, Heavy Armor, Enchanted Shield, Virtue of Knightly Temper
Paladin (BSB )
Barded Warhorse, Heavy Armor, Gromril Great Helm, Sword of Might
Lvl 1, Warhorse, Scroll, Mane of the Purebreed
8 Heartless Knights, FC
(General typically will join)
8 Heartless Knights, FC, Warbanner
(BSB will join)
22 Men at Arms, FC
I guess there's really not much to it. I'm basically looking for thoughts on character builds, and possible options for this level of game.
Drop your General paladin promote the damsel to the General. With points I suggest getting another lance, maybe reducing the number of knights in the lance just to get another lance. Also errant with the errantry banner would be a good choice to look at. Yet another option would be be skirmishing bowmen. Don't limit your self to only 2 lances and M@A's.
