    2000 8th ed tourney

    Hi,
Im trying to put together a good solid list for a 2k tourney in 8th edition.

    Lord - 259
Virtue of heroism, Armour of agilulf, heartwood lance, barded warhorse, grail vow.

    Paladin - 112
Battle standard bearer, gromril great helm, barded warhorse, questing vow

    Damsel - 135
level 2, calice of malfluer, warhorse, lore of beasts

    damsel - 140
level 2, dispel scroll, warhorse, lore of beasts

    9 knights of the realm - 240
    Full command

    6 knights fo the realm - 168
    full commmand

    10 bowmen - 60

    3 pegasus knights - 165

    3 pegasus knights - 165

    11 questing knights - 348
    full command, war banner

    trebuchet - XXX

    trebuchet- XXX

    Total - 1999

The plan is to have the BSB go with the questing knights and take out any large infantry units. The stack of cambat res and kills, combined with 3 ranks should be enough to get rid of steadfast and carry the fight. The lord will chase after enemy heros or monsters. The pegasus knights can damage warmachines early on. The trebuchets are there to whittle down enemy blocks. The damsels will both take the signature spell to hopefully buff my knight units.

Do people think this list would be competative?
    Thanks.

Just a couple of things from experience, and a couple of rules things - you may need more units, or you will find yourself outmaneuvered, and the damsels on horses cannot use transformation. Also, there are a lot of points on the characters, who may not make up the large cost. Also, you need a lord on a pegasus for two units of pegasus knights, and you cannot use the virtue of heroism with a magic weapon. Personally i would take less magical gear and more knights, but just a suggestion.

I do believe you need your general on a Pegasus before you can have more than one Pegagus Knight Group.

The Virtue of Heroism can now be used with a magical weapon, per the new FAQ- (Page 58 – Virtue of Heroism Change to “The Knight has the Heroic Killing Blow special rule.”)
