just getting back into fantasy now, I used to play alot of 7th in tournaments and such but i haven't played in about 2 years.
the theme for this army is low fantasy, which means no monsters, little magic and only mostly common magic items.
my army is painted to look like an early medieval army, lots of browns and greens, my knights are designed to resemble horseman more then the traditional knight. the only exception to this are the grail knights which are much brighter with red surcoats and horses and are meant to be a royal guard.
Paladin BSB 139
-virtue of duty
-virtue of empathy
8 KotR 216
8 knights Errant 201
6 KotR 168
5 Question Knights 140
5 mounted yeoman 87
6 Grail Knights 258
39 men at arms 227
39 men at arms 227
i also wanted to know your opinion on the men at arms. should i field 2 units of 40 in 10x4, or one of 50 and one of 30 in 10x5 and 6x5 respectively (the paladin and damsel join the men at arms to fill in the ranks). or one unit of 80 and buy another knight.
Don't know if you still need help on the list but I'll say stuff anyway!
The list looks pretty solid for low fantasy if that is what it's going to be fighting against. With the maa have one unit in horde formation with the other 5 wide and 8 deep as a tarpit and to help you gain ranks in combat when using your knights. It'd be nice to see a virtue on the general as well as he has plenty of points left in his allotment. The virtues should mostly fit in with a low fantasy setting as they tend to show a knights martial prowess.
Possibly you lacked comments as the list is pretty good on the whole.
Who are you fighting against regularly?
I see that you're going on a low magic list but if you're trying to put up a some what competitive army you'll need a Level 4 even if she's just their to dispel.
I'm not a fan of a mornig star, if you dind't get the charge with a knight something went horrably wrong.
On the same note 8th is more focussed on a 2end round of combat so questing knights and grail knights are more of a vaible opption than they were before. I personally love to field 7 grail knights + bsb + prophetess as a CR doomstar.
AS for the mounted yeomen I seized to be a fan afther 8th as pegi are now fast cav.
I know a horde of WS3 S4 men at arms sounds apealing but I still give preferance to 2 units of 20 archers.
I'm also missing a trebushet, as it is the cheapest S10 warmashine in the game I find it some what of a waste not to deploy it.
interesting read, although it´s a 5 month old list.

it was a foot knight. Probably with one of the tarpits (M@A)
