Basically i developed this list because all knight armies are so boring and predictable to play with. Sure, you might win more, but for me winning comes second to having fun. I'll probably have about a million people disagree with me, but there we are. come on guys! 26 views so far... but no replies! all replies are welcome, even if you are condemning my list in every possible way!
It's hard to read your army list... and I don't think ppl are condemning it. If you look around, you'll see that there's a lot of ppl who are very much for peasant armies.
It's only a lance of Grail Knights... won't hurt at all!
Lets make your list a bit more readable first.
Bretonnian Lord Gregoire de Bastonne
Questing Vow, great weapon, Bretonnian warhorse, virtue of Confidence, armour of Agilulf, insignia of the quest
Paladin Standard bearer Jacques de Bastonne
Battle standard, sword of might, enchanted shield, virtue of Empathy
Level 2, dispel scroll
Knights of the Realm 6 x2
Men-at-arms 19 x3
Peasant bowmen 12 x3
Questing Kinghts 6
Mounted yeomen 6
Mounted yeomen 5
You're going to have a lot of troops on the field which can become a tactical nightmare. I've run a peasent army in a tournament, and it was a bit difficult to get everything set up etc... From the looks of it you're going to run all of your foot characters in your units of MAA. I'm guessing that your general is going to sit with the rest of the questing Knights. I would highly recomend running one of your archer units in a skirmished formation. I'd pull the Craftsman off of the Treb, but you never know that one point of LD might help. I've tried to run 2 units of yeomen but have found two to be to many.
I'd also consider dropping a unit of bowmen. Unless you are going against unarmoured T3 guys they don't do a whole heck of a lot. And even against those you gotta get lucky to get all the hits and wounds in. Just my opinion though.
Meh lol I'm not agaisnt peasent armies or for all knight ones for that matter. I just dont want to buy 16 men at arms at a time for that price and need about 50 boxes. Not many ways you can get wrong with a bretonnian army as long as you have long knight units or good support for short ones. With that many units to field be careful not to spread them so far out that half your army is moving while the other half is getting hit by their entire force.
A majority of what it takes to be a good bret player is on the field anyways.
