Ok I am a player of warhammer fntasy but have just recently switched to Bretonnia. Usually i play in tournaments and i have gotten the hang of general tactics but i eed help making an army list. I play with a 2150 point list so what do you put into a list? I know the must haves include pegasus knights a nretonnia lord and a standard bearer paladin. but what else do you put in? any help will be appreciated and thanks.
Well, Knights of the relm are a 1+ unit, so you muct take atleast one of them.
Errant Knights make a good choice, with their Errantry banner.
Make both of these above units 9 strong in lance formation (including characters added), with FC.
Id recommend a unit of Skirmishing bowmen, 16 of them, with FC and Braziers.
Also id say go for unit of 5 or 6 Grail Knights, dont use Lance form for these though.
Pesasus Knights, unless you take a Lord on Pegasus for multiple units, definitly take 1 unit of 3-4, no standard needed though.
For magic defense take a couple of Damsels (Mounted and added to Knight units to make use of Magic Resistance). One with a couple of Scrolls, and one with the +1Displ Dice Chalice.
Then if you want them, a unit or two of Men at Arms, 20-25 dtrong, with FC.
If you dont mind using special Chars, maybe look at the Green Knight, he is amazing for his points.
I'd have to go with deceiver there, the green night is fantastic and definitely worth more than his points, but he is one of those characters that it'll take time to get used to.
Personally I'd avoid questing nights because the new rules have reduced the strength addition to great weapons and this has blunted their oomph a bit, not a great reduction but nonetheless seriously damages their, damage .
